Travel Fund

We want to enable diagnostic staff working in haematology laboratories to attend relevant conferences and events, to learn from colleagues in other parts of the UK and Ireland and make connections to enable shared learning and collaboration.

We hope this will result in more skilled and knowledgeable diagnostic staff in Northern Ireland, improving the quality and ranges of diagnostic testing for patients with suspected blood cancer.

This fund is open to staff currently employed in haematology diagnostic laboratories in any of the five health trusts within Northern Ireland.

Funding award: Up to £1,000

1. Review and complete the Guidelines & Application Form.
2. No deadlines – submit when ready.
3. Application assessed internally.
4. Decision made at Board of Trustees meeting.
5. Applicants advised of outcome in 8-12 weeks.
