Signs and Symptoms

Not everyone will experience the same symptoms and in some cases no symptoms will be evident.

Caused by a low level of red blood cells to carry oxygen around the body.

Damage to bones can be caused; particularly with myeloma.

Low levels of platelets, which help blood to clot, can lead to bruising and bleeding.

Some people with lymphoma experience drenching sweats particularly at night time.

Anaemia, caused by low red blood cells, can lead to shortness of breath.

Caused by a low level of white blood cells which fight infections.

Infections can cause flu like symptoms including fever and shivering.

Caused by a build up of abnormal white blood cells in the lymph glands.
