How your donation will make a difference
Your £10 could help us distribute information to the public on early symptoms of blood cancer, which could encourage someone to see their GP and lead to early diagnosis - which could considerably improve their outcome.
Your £20 could support a PHD student investigating a particular blood cancer and the best treatments to use for individual patients.
Your £50 could support laboratory equipment and machinery to enable the Blood Cancer Group team to continue their ground-breaking research work.
Your £100 could help find a better treatment for a blood cancer that causes less side effects for patients, or even help to find a cure for a rare form of blood cancer.

4Legacy Giving
Making a will can be a daunting thought, but as we all know tomorrow isn’t promised. Choosing to leave a gift to LLNI is a wonderful gesture to ensure that your values live on and positively impact communities across Northern Ireland.
Support a Cause That Matters to You
Imagine your gift funding research that helps improve future blood cancer patients’ lives, or contributing to the education of a post-graduate student investigating cells that could lead to a breakthrough cure. Whether you want to support a specific initiative or give broadly, your generosity can change lives.

5In memory of a loved one
Donate in memory of a loved one, or collect donations in lieu of flowers via a personalised tribute page that you can share with friends, family and others.
This is a way to support your loved one’s cause, create a legacy or a fund in their name that will support blood cancer patient treatment and care.
We can help you create a bespoke tribute page in any way that you wish, whether that be with photos, shared stories, achievements or retelling happy memories.
Kathryn Clarke. Principal Clinical Scientist | Haemato-oncology, Belfast City Hospital
Having the support of LLNI throughout my PhD afforded me the opportunity to perform experiments and disseminate my research on a global scale. Travelling to Europe and America on a number of occasions developed my confidence, communication and collaboration skills, which ultimately led to me moving to Cambridge to train as a Clinical Scientist. I have since returned to Belfast and use the skills I have picked up over the years to help diagnose blood cancers for patients in Northern Ireland – all thanks to the springboard that LLNI gave me.
