Seed Fund

We want to support innovation and enable researchers to explore novel ideas, in order to gather data and evidence to help lever further funding.

We hope this investment will allow researchers to generate preliminary data or demonstrate validity of a hypothesis, to support promising ideas with the potential to transform treatment of blood cancers.

This fund is open to researchers in any academic institution in Northern Ireland or any clinical researcher within the HSC in Northern Ireland.

Funding award: Up to £15,000

1. Review and complete the Guidelines & Application Form.
2. Four deadlines per year: 24th April 2026 / 26th June 2026 / 16th October 2026 / 22nd January 2027
3. 2 external assessments: Peer Review & SMAC meeting
4. Decision at Board of Trustees Meeting.
5. Applicants advised of decision in 3 months.
