Going the Distance for Blood Cancer – 99 for 99

We’re really excited about our virtual events for 2022!

We’ve partnered with My Virtual Mission (MVM), which is a fantastic app that will really bring this challenge to life. You can participate as an individual or a team, and by syncing your fitness tracker to the MVM app, it will allow you to see your progress along the interactive map in real time!

99 for 99 is a 99km route (roughly the distance from Belfast to Derry) which has been chosen to reflect the fact that 99 people are diagnosed with a blood cancer every month in Northern Ireland – that’s 3 a day! The aim of this challenge is to clock up the distance by completing walks, runs, cycles or even swims in your local area.

The registration fee is £12 and each person will receive an LLNI drifit tshirt, as well as a certificate and medal upon completion. There is no requirement to obtain sponsorship, but if you would like to use this as an opportunity to raise money, we would be very grateful.

Further information will be emailed to you, once you have registered and you can reserve you place here: https://llni.co.uk/shop/products/99for99/

Sign up, get your family and friends involved and get out and about this summer to clock up those kilometres for blood cancer research!
