Celebrations for the team

Celebrations this month as our PhD Student Clare Crean passed her Viva this month. Before joining us in Belfast, Clare did her undergraduate degree in Human Genetics in Trinity College Dublin and this forged her interest in research.

Clare’s project with LLNI focused on the role of DNA repair mechanisms in Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML). We will be sad to Clare go but it is exciting progress to see a PhD student progress to training as a clinical scientist with the Belfast Trust.
