Blood Cancer Awareness Month
We are introducing Blood Cancer Awareness Month to Northern Ireland for the first time this September and we would be delighted to have your support.
To mark this awareness campaign, we are asking everyone to consider wearing something red in September and to take a ‘selfie’ photo to post to Twitter and Facebook using our hashtag #REDHERO in support of Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI and Blood Cancer Awareness Month.
You can donate by text by texting SEPT14 £5 to 70070 to support research into blood cancers.
On September 10, we are lighting up Belfast City Hall, The Victoria Square dome and The Great Hall in Parliament Buildings RED for Blood Cancer Awareness Month, if you are out and about that day take a photo and send it to us via social media using #REDHERO

Every day three people are diagnosed with a blood cancer, such as leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma in Northern Ireland and for particular age groups the survival rates are still low.
