99RedBalloons
Each month we go to a different location around Northern Ireland for our year-long #99RedBalloons campaign where we meet people who have been affected by a blood cancer in some way.
This month we visited Strathearn Grammar School in east Belfast to talk to the school friends of Catherine Buchanan who sadly passed away from leukaemia in 2013.
A bench in Catherine’s memory, donated by her parents, sits in the grounds of Strathearn. 99 people are diagnosed with a blood cancer such as leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma every month in Northern Ireland.
To donate, text BALL06 £5 to 70070.
